Cisco CSO, Executives to Share Global Research Revealing the Human Side of Security -- From Employee Perceptions and Behavior to Trends, Threats, and Risk Management Tips

What: On February 5, 2008, three top security executives from Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) will host an interactive Internet TV broadcast spotlighting new global research that reveals the "human side" of enterprise security challenges and their effect on the evolution of threats. The security executives will share their perspectives on how businesses can evolve risk management approaches, and how CIOs and their IT teams can lead this effort, especially as workers become more distributed. The discussion will highlight:
-- The evolution of security threats and insight into future challenges: From standalone viruses to blended content security threats to collaborative threats involving online, physical, identity, legal, geopolitical, and other factors. -- Research findings on security perceptions and risky behavior of remote workers in 10 countries and how, if unchecked, they can heighten risks for businesses and employees. -- How behavior influences the threat landscape, and how businesses should subsequently adapt risk management strategies and approaches. -- Annual security reports from Cisco that underscore vulnerabilities and security challenges ranging from spam and identity theft to physical and geopolitical threats. -- Live Q&A: Media and analysts can ask the executives questions throughout the broadcast.
