DiscountASP.NET Integrates SmarterMail API into Open Control Panel

DiscountASP.NET, a provider of advanced shared Microsoft Windows web-hosting services, has integrated SmarterTools’ SmarterMail APIs into its Open Control Panel framework.

The Open Control Panel web service API library provides DiscountASP.NET customers with the ability to develop their own web, desktop, or mobile applications that interface directly with their web hosting account.

With the SmarterMail API integration, DiscountASP.NET customers can now retrieve email account lists, modify passwords, and create/delete email accounts through web services without accessing the hosting control panel or the SmarterMail webmail client.

DiscountASP.NET customers can activate access to the API library via their control panel and are assigned a unique authentication key. In addition, a sandbox key is provided so customers can test their applications without the risk of making changes to their hosting account.
