Box Office Tickets Launches Networking Tools
Posted on: Wednesday, 13 February 2008, 12:00 CST
Box Office Tickets Inc. announces new network tools that make it easy for multiple organizations to work together as partners to co-market events, sell tickets online, and automate box office management.
New tools enable multiple venues, event producers, performing arts and fundraising organizations to create their own "network community." The network provides shared services that automate online marketing, promotion and fulfillment. Network point-of-sale (POS) features allow on-site processing of walk-ups in multiple locations.
Through its boxofficetickets.com(R) and RoBOT(R) technologies, Box Office Tickets provides all of the back of the house software, support and infrastructure required for cooperating organizations to create their own ticketing network. Partners use these online tools to access and manage shows and events, send out promotions, sell tickets and transact other business over the Internet.
There are no fees for organizations to join the network. Instead, customers pay a small service fee for the convenience of using the network online or at network enabled walk-ups. Five cents from each ticket sold goes towards supporting local community-sponsored projects.
Leveraging infrastructures, services and synergies
Box Office Tickets has a long history of helping non-profits leverage the Internet to promote events, sell tickets and conduct other transactions.
"We recognize that many arts, entertainment and non-profit organizations are working with limited budgets," says George Domurot, President/CEO of Box Office Tickets Inc. "By enabling multiple players to share resources, such as a centralized walk-up, we help them reduce costs and take advantage of natural synergies. Our tools make it easy for them to work together, reach more people and offer more services."
In addition to ticketing, networking tools link partners to patrons and offer ticket purchasers a personal digest service that automatically compiles a list of upcoming events and shows based on their preferences.
