Runcom Completes Inter-Operability Test With Nokia Siemens Networks

Runcom Technologies, a provider of OFDMA technology for WiMAX, has announced the completion of inter-operability test with Nokia Siemens Networks.
The inter-operability test (IOT) was executed between Nokia Siemens Networks Flexi WiMAX base stations and Runcom based customer premises equipment (CPE). The CPEs are manufactured by Runcom's OEMs, based on Runcom's OFDMA technology.
Markku Hollstrom, head of broadband wireless product management at Nokia Siemens Networks, said: "The completion of the inter-operability testing with Runcom is an important milestone for Nokia Siemens Networks on the way to Mobile WiMAX commercial deployments during 2008."
