Konica Minolta Announces Plug-Ins for HP Web Jetadmin Peripheral Management Software

RAMSEY, N.J., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced the availability of device plug- ins for HP's peripheral management software -- HP Web Jetadmin. Konica Minolta has co-developed the plug-ins with HP to enable HP Web Jetadmin users to monitor, configure and manage Konica Minolta's multifunctional (MFP) and printer-only devices on their network using a standard Web browser. The Konica Minolta HP Web Jetadmin plug-ins are available for a number of Konica Minolta's MFPs and printers, including select bizhub brand products.

The HP certified Web Jetadmin plug-ins offer IT administrators an easy and reliable way to add Konica Minolta MFPs and printers to their HP Web Jetadmin network utility. Once the Konica Minolta plug-ins are installed, IT administrators can increase their efficiency substantially. The functions supported by the plug-ins include:

* Accurate icons for real-time Konica Minolta device status;

* The ability to change device network settings;

* Detailed email alerts to specified network administrators; and

* Graphical representations of installed options and printer settings.

The Konica Minolta plug-ins are only compatible with HP Web Jetadmin versions 7.2, 7.5, 7.6 and 7.8 and are available free-of-charge at http://www.kmbs.konicaminolta.us/, click on Solutions and click on Network Device Management.
