Edgewater Networks, Inc. 4500T4 Network Services Gateway Selected for Covad Business T1 and Bonded T1 Services
Edgewater Networks, Inc. announced today that Covad Communications Group, Inc. (AMEX: DVW), a leading national provider of integrated voice and data communications, has certified and is now using the EdgeMarc 4500T4 Network Services Gateway to deliver its Business T1 and Bonded T1 Services. The EdgeMarc 4500T4 Network Services Gateway is installed at the enterprise edge and is used to provide T1 and Bonded T1 termination and IP routing services.
The EdgeMarc 4500T4 Network Service Gateway includes up to 4 x T1 CSU/DSU ports, a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Wide Area Network (WAN) port and an integrated 4 x 10/100 Mbps managed VLAN Ethernet switch. It is a scalable routing solution that can be installed initially with a single T1 line and then upgraded via license key to support multiple T1 links without requiring additional hardware. The 4500T4 is remotely manageable and supports many standard interfaces including SNMP, SSH, Telnet and Http/https.
