Fortune Market Media, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FTMM), a diversified media and communications corporation, announced today that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with the Las Vegas Television Network (LVTN) to develop programming and fund the expansion of operations. Ryan Tomlinson, Executive VP of Fortune Market, stated, "The Las Vegas Television Network is one of the most exciting projects in media today. As the number one tourist destination, the number one convention destination, and the number four brand, Las Vegas represents a great investment for media development. While many companies have attempted to build a network based on Las Vegas, LVTN is the only one to actually persist in developing a 24/7 linear network focused on Las Vegas. We look forward to developing more Vegas themed programming and making that programming available to cable and satellite systems throughout the world."
Fortune Market Executive VP John Salley stated, "I am very excited to be a part of this network development. It's not hard to see the potential in this partnership with Las Vegas Television Network. This venture will be a perfect addition to our satellite, internet and mobile media distribution."
Nathan Drage, President of LVTN, stated, "LVTN has created over twenty Vegas-based television shows and will go into production on an additional twenty-two shows in the fall. We have had a relationship with Fortune Market Media for over a year and we are very pleased they share LVTN's vision for creating Las Vegas-based television programming and are now able to become a player in LVTN financing, development, marketing and distribution."
