Cavium Networks Teams Up With Ecosystem Partners and Customers to Display Comprehensive Solutions for Network Services and Security at RSA Conference 2005

Cavium Networks Showcases Industry's Most Scalable Security & Integrated MIPS Processor Line Supported with ODM, Software Partners and over 25 NITROX-Powered OEM products

Cavium Networks, the leader in content and security processing, today announced its participation at the RSA Conference 2005 in San Francisco Moscone Center from February 14-18. Cavium Networks booth #630 will display the world's most scalable line of security and integrated MIPS network services processors enabling networking OEMs to build systems with performance ranging from 10Mbps to 10Gbps. Leading Hardware ODM and Software companies: IWILL, Nexcom, Montavista, Intoto and Wind River will also present powerful solutions that complement Cavium Networks silicon and enable rapid time to market for customers. Additionally, Cavium Networks NITROX powered systems from over 25 vendors will highlight shipping applications that include Firewall, VPN, IPsec, SSL, IDS, IPS, Antivirus, content switches, broadband router and wireless LAN access/aggregation points.

Cavium Networks feature-rich NITROX Security Processors accelerate IPsec, SSL and Wireless protocols with support for 3DES, AES, RSA, Diffie-Hellman, SHA-1, MD5 cryptographic algorithms. Cavium Networks NITROX Soho processors integrate a MIPS32 processor with IPsec and SSL encryption acceleration and a range of standard I/Os. Cavium Networks OCTEON network services processors integrate 2 to 16 MIPS64 cores with HW acceleration for TCP, IPsec, SSL, Regular-Expression for IDS, IPS, Anti-Virus Scanning, and Compression Decompression.

Cavium Networks hardware ODM partners offer a wide range of custom motherboards, for networking OEMs. Hardware partners IWILL USA with its extensive line of single and dual-processor motherboards and Nexcom will be displaying their solutions utilizing Cavium Networks silicon at the show.

Cavium Networks software partners offer operating systems, development environments, protocol-level toolkits and complete embedded application software, all optimized to work with Cavium Networks' processors. Software partners MontaVista, Intoto and WindRiver will be at the show.

Additionally, Cavium Networks will be showcasing 25+ NITROX powered customer systems in production. Customers displaying Cavium Networks powered equipment include Aruba Networks, Check Point Technologies, F5 Networks, Furukawa, Netgear, Samsung, SonicWALL, Symantec and Yamaha.
