Mall Networks, the leading provider of merchant-funded loyalty shopping solutions, today announced that it has appointed John Mangan its vice president of financial markets where he will oversee the development of new business with top financial services firms, including consumer credit card, banking, and insurance organizations. Mangan comes to Mall Networks with more than 20 years of experience with MBNA (now Bank of America) and, most recently, The Kessler Group where he was vice president of new business development.
Mangan brings to Mall Networks extensive experience in building and negotiating affinity partnerships and loyalty marketing programs. During his career in financial services and marketing services, he has worked on key relationships and partnerships with major organizations such as Wachovia, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, and LL Bean, and renowned sports brands such as Major League Baseball, NASCAR, and the National Football League.
As VP of new business development at The Kessler Group, Mangan developed partnership solutions for clients and prospects in the financial services arena where he focused on leveraging affinity partner assets to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. He also developed co-marketing agreements between Kessler clients and various marketing solutions companies to improve acquisition and loyalty marketing results.
Prior to The Kessler Group, Mangan spent 17 years at MBNA America most recently as marketing director for product development. In this capacity, he developed and implemented new products and credit card loyalty programs for large affinity groups. Also at MBNA, Mangan had extensive experience partnering with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express to maximize cardholder value propositions and customer loyalty. Mangan holds a bachelor of science in marketing and finance from University of Delaware. He has served on various committees for the Ronald McDonald House.
"John brings the ideal experience and domain expertise to help direct our rapid growth and handle the incredible demand for our solutions by leading financial services firms," said Dave Andre, president and chief executive officer at Mall Networks. "We're excited about the opportunity to build on top of our tremendous success with financial services firms and are thrilled to have John join the Mall Networks team."
"Mall Networks has rapidly established itself as the market leader in merchant-funded loyalty shopping solutions," said Mangan. "Financial services firms are not well served by existing legacy solutions and obviously will benefit dramatically from Mall Networks' next generation solutions. I am ecstatic to join such a tremendous company."
