JAL Expands Code Share Agreement With Air France and British Airways

Japan Airlines has announced that it has strengthened its Europe route network by expanding bilateral code share agreements with Air France and British Airways.

According to the agreements, Japan Airlines (JAL) will add four European cities to its network: Lyons, Nice, Vienna and Zurich. From March 30, 2008, JAL will be able to place its 'JL' code number on daily flights operated by Air France between Paris - Lyon and Paris - Nice.

From April 1, 2008 including code shares JAL will connect Japan to 24 cities in Europe: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Helsinki, London, Lyons, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Nice, Rome, Paris, Prague, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich.
