New Web Portal – OnScribe – Offers One-Stop Access to Online Paid Content for Consumers

March 3, 2008

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., March 3 /PRNewswire/ — Consumers that want easy access to a variety of premium, paid Web content can now get it, and only pay one monthly fee for a single login. OnScribe, a new portal to paid membership Web sites, launched today.

“OnScribe’s goal is to offer a simple, streamlined Web experience for the masses,” said Arthur Frischman, Internet marketer and founder and president of OnScribe. “We are enabling consumers to access a variety of paid content sites all in one place at a low, bundled rate, using only one login. Simultaneously, we’re delivering incremental traffic and revenue at no cost or risk to our content partners.”

Research commissioned by OnScribe indicates that nearly two-thirds of the online population currently subscribes to some form of online content.* However, managing multiple subscriptions and memberships with different logins and payments for access to Web content can be a hassle.

OnScribe is partnering with premium content sites in categories including Kids, Food & Wine, News & Weather, Social Media and Sports. Consumers can already start deleting some of their logins, as partners like Rotowire.com for the sports enthusiast and Accuweather.com for those tuned into the latest weather data are some of the many sites already available through OnScribe. That list will soon grow to include digital versions of many popular magazines as well, creating a one-stop-subscriber portal to the most popular membership and paid content sites on the Web.

“OnScribe is a simple way for families to access our premium service — Clever Island,” said Tom Yamada, vice president of sales at AFLY Inc. “We’re thrilled to reach a wider audience.”

Consumers can visit http://www.onscribe.com/ to sign up for a free trial. **Based on a nationwide survey of 1,000 adult members of the online population (age 18+) conducted by Braun Research in conjunction with the Ketchum Global Research Network. Margin of error for the overall sample is +/- 3% at the 95% confidence level.
