SAN FRANCISCO, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Urban Mapping, Inc., the leading provider of location-rich content for interactive applications, today announced the appointment of local search industry veteran Greg Sterling to the company's Board of Directors effective immediately. Sterling is the Founding Principal of Sterling Market Intelligence, a consulting and research firm focused on the Internet's impact on local consumer and advertiser behavior. "Greg is one of the most insightful and informed analysts I know and he brings with him a unique perspective on local search," said Ian White, CEO of Urban Mapping.
