Tarantella Expands Platform Support for Secure Global Desktop Enterprise Edition 4

LINUXWORLD, BOSTON, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tarantella, Inc. today announced that it has expanded the list of installation hardware platforms for its Secure Global Desktop(TM) Enterprise Edition 4 software. The supported server platforms now include:

* x86 - running Sun Solaris or Linux (SUSE, Red Hat or Fedora)

* Sun SPARC -- running Sun Solaris

* IBM POWER5 -- running Linux (SUSE or Red Hat)

Enterprise Edition 4 software, with support for Solaris on x86 and IBM Linux on POWER, is available immediately to select customers through Tarantella's Early Access Program.
