Thru and NTT America Showcase One-Stop, Global Enterprise Services at Gartner Compliance & Risk Management Summit 2008

NEW YORK, and IRVING, Texas, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Thru, a global leader in delivering critical messaging solutions, and NTT America today announced the launch of the Thru Secure Communication Network(TM) (SCN) brand of software-as-a-service (SaaS) at the Gartner Compliance & Risk Management Summit 2008. The Thru SCN is deployed on the Enterprise Hosting platform and Global Tier 1 IP backbone provided by NTT America in the US, and through its parent company NTT Communications in Europe and Asia. This partnership allows the Thru SCN to scale and synchronize information exchange, as well as content archiving globally. Thru's former managed service offerings are now part of the Thru SCN.

Thru and NTT America collaborated on designing a solution that provides a highly efficient and easy to use service with global network interconnectivity and bandwidth that simplifies outbound content protection, delivery and archiving. The Thru SCN handles the secure messaging and large file transfer needs of firms with global teams and supply chains more efficiently and reliably than traditional tools, including standard email clients and FTP. Also, Thru's patent-pending Distributed Content Synchronization (DCS) technology premiers with the launch of the Thru SCN, enabling secure streaming of content across wide-area networks at local networking speeds.
