Cavalier Launches Hi-Speed Internet Service With Google Apps

Internet service provider Cavalier has announced the launch of its Hi-Speed Internet service with Google Apps, Google's web-based platform for communication and collaboration.
According to the company, all its new and current Hi-Speed Internet subscribers will now have access to Google's communications tools such as Gmail e-mail services, Google Calendar for shared scheduling, Google Product Search for shopping, Google Picasa for photos, and the Google Start Page feature which will allow subscribers to create a customizable home page.
Ed Meyercord, CEO of Cavalier, said: "Our relationship with Google allows us to offer our users some of the most innovative applications on the web. Cavalier's Hi-Speed Internet customers now receive the fastest download speeds, the best email system and the most time saving features at the lowest price."
