Nirvanix Appoints New Director

Nirvanix, a provider of computer storage platforms, has appointed Michael Wall to its board of directors.

Mr Wall spent 15 years at Intel, most recently as the general manager of the company’s Storage Group. As a supplier of storage technology to the computer industry, Mr Wall worked closely with the large, multinational OEMs that manufacture and distribute servers, workstations and storage solutions.

Prior to joining Intel, Mr Wall served as a general manager at Cray Research, where he was responsible for North American operations. He has also held several marketing management positions at IBM.
