Raketu Communications, a provider of internet communication services, has introduced its WebIM, a web-based global instant messaging application.

Raketu has claimed that in addition to Raketu’s voice calling, SMS-Texting, file sharing and other communications, information and entertainment services, the new application will allow users to send and receive instant messages from any device totally free – without any download.

Greg Parker, president and CEO of Raketu, said: “More and more users approached Raketu to provide a way to send and receive instant messages across devices, so that no matter what mobile or desktop device they were using, they could send and receive IM and not have to wait and pay for SMS-Text messages.

“The new Raketu WebIM does just that – enables any internet connected device to IM with any other internet connected device, in real time, absolutely free.”
