InterVideo InstantON Technology is Shipping With Toshiba Express Media Player on Satellite M45 Series Notebooks

InterVideo(R), Inc. (NASDAQ:IVII) a leading provider of software solutions to tier-one consumer electronics and PC manufacturers, announced today that its innovative InterVideo InstantON technology is now integrated with Toshiba Express Media Player Notebooks.

The Toshiba Satellite M45 series notebook offers users more than just multimedia functions; it also provides consumers the ability to utilize their laptops for digital entertainment purposes. With the integration of InterVideo InstantON technology into Toshiba Express Media Player, the notebooks include a comprehensive entertainment package for instant access to enjoy DVD movie playback along with rich audio surround sound of listening to audio CDs. These notebooks are the best companion for users on the go, with InterVideo InstantON technology, the Toshiba Express Media Player gives users the ability to retrieve their digital entertainment quickly and easily by opening the program in a Linux partition and bypass the loading process in Windows(R).

Availability

Toshiba Express Media Player notebooks with InstantON technology are now available.

InterVideo InstantON is currently available from InterVideo only to OEMs for evaluation and integration and is not sold as stand-alone retail software. The modular nature of the product enables OEMs and middleware developers to create customized solutions and to incorporate only the features that are required for a particular device. InstantON, includes the full stack of OS, BIOS, drivers, modules (engines), applications, user interface and remote control optimizations.

InterVideo also offers consulting services to assist OEM InstantON customers with product planning and customization, hardware driver fine-tuning, third party company software integration, planning test procedures and product updates.
