Marc Gareton Named Executive Vice President International Warner Bros. Digital Distribution

Marc Gareton has been promoted to Executive Vice President, International, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution it was announced today by Thomas Gewecke, President, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, to whom Marc directly reports.
As Executive Vice President, International, Gareton will continue his oversight of the studio's digital strategy, partnerships in digital services and emerging business activities outside of the US.
"I am very fortunate to have Marc on my team," Gewecke said. "He has a tremendous amount of experience in the international arena and his knowledge of the business is unparalleled."
Prior to this promotion, Gareton served as Senior Vice President, International, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, and prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Business Decision Support for Warner Home Video.

Gareton previously managed Warner Home Video's Global Business Transformation project where he led a massive change initiative affecting the business model, structure and processes of the division. He joined Warner Home Video in 1995 in a senior marketing role in France before being promoted to Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand and then to Senior Vice President Canada, Latin America and Australia/New Zealand. Prior to joining Warner Home Video, he held management positions with Group Moulinex-Krups and holds an MBA from Reims Management School in France and attended the "Leading Change and Organization Renewal" executive education course at Stamford University, California.
