Norwegian Integrator Cumulus IT Joins Procera Networks' ProceraPro Channel Partner Program

Procera(R) Networks, Inc. (AMEX: PKT), a pioneering developer of network traffic and service management infrastructure equipment, today announced that Cumulus IT AS has joined the ProceraPro channel partner program. Cumulus is a systems integrator for service providers, higher education institutions, enterprises and other customers throughout Norway including StarNordic, one of the nation's leading triple-play service providers.
Founded in 2000, Cumulus is a consultancy supplier with a primary focus on technology competence that initially specialized in firewalls and other network security products. In 2005 the company was acquired by Hafslund Telekom, one of Norway's five largest suppliers of fiber optic network access to broadband operators, municipalities, and businesses and industry. Hafslund Telekom serves approximately 1,500 corporate customers and 3,000 private-market customers, and is a division of Hafslund ASA, one of the largest utility companies in the Nordic region. In 2007, Cumulus IT became a subsidiary of the new Hafslund IT division, and in 2008, Cumulus IT became a separate subsidiary to better focus on its market space.
In preparing a new technology offering for service providers in its territory, Cumulus IT has standardized on products from Procera Networks, Alcatel-Lucent, and Netadmin Systems.
