Flock Browser Wins SXSW Interactive Web Award for Best ''Community''

Flock, the innovative social web browser, announced today that the judges of the SXSW 11th Annual Web Awards have selected Flock as the winner in the Best Community category. Winners were announced at the SXSW Web Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 9, during the SXSW Interactive Festival.
"Flock is the only web browser that makes it simple for users to connect, interact and share," said Shawn Hardin, CEO of Flock. Since its launch, Flock has seen nearly 3 million downloads of its social web browser and its adoption rate continues to grow at a rapid pace. In the first two months of 2008, active users have increased by 135 percent. Many of Flock's active users have shown their devotion to the social web browser with more than 70 percent of users making it their default browser.
