Avnet Technology Solutions Receives 2007 IBM Global Services U.S. Sales Leadership Award

Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced it was the recipient of the 2007 IBM Global Services (IGS) U.S. Sales Leadership Award, which acknowledges exceptional services sales contributions by IBM Business Partners.

Honored for growth in the systems distribution category, Avnet was recognized for year-to-year growth in systems and non-maintenance systems. The award encompasses the selling of IBM Global Services, including hardware maintenance, remote technical service, software maintenance, business continuity recovery services, and an expansive range of labor-based services including implementation and data migration/mobility.
