Wedge Networks Opens Beijing, San Jose Sales Offices to Meet Increased Market Demand
Posted on: Wednesday, 12 March 2008, 12:00 CDT
Wedge Networks, a leading provider of next-generation, high performance Deep Content Inspection Technology, today announced the opening of its first regional sales offices in San Jose, California and Beijing, China to support the sale of its Web Security and Web Optimization appliances for the enterprise and service provider market. At both locations, Wedge Networks customers and business partners will find trained personnel who can respond quickly to a wide range of sales and consulting needs pertaining to the company's popular BeSecure Internet Gateway, BeSecure Web Gateway, BeSecure Message Gateway and BeFast products.
Wedge Networks' new regional offices are an indication of the strong demand for its industry-leading, gigabit speed Deep Content Inspection Technology. The BeSecure and BeFast line of products including BeSecure Web Gateway, BeSecure Internet Gateway, BeSecure Message Gateway and BeFast, increase network productivity, Internet Malware protection and data loss prevention for telecoms, Internet Service Providers (ISVs) and enterprises by enhancing network security and throughput. The rack-mounted devices address issues of security and bandwidth consumption at the edge of a network without having to install client-level software.
"Opening these two offices is a noteworthy step forward for Wedge Networks. Our growing client base in China and Silicon Valley has made these two locations both possible and necessary," said Dr. Phil Gee, CEO of Wedge Networks. "Now clients and resellers alike can get the fast, efficient product knowledge they need -- and in the case of the Beijing office in particular, a time zone difference no longer needs to be factored in."
The need for Wedge Networks' China office has been accentuated by the growth of affiliated resellers in that region in recent months. Wedge Networks now counts four major resellers in China alone: SureKAM Corporation; Seven Technology; Huahuan Technology; and Taovo Inc. The office will also service other customers and partners throughout the Pacific Rim.
Staffing for both new offices will be complete by early March. Wedge Networks' new offices can be contacted at:
