Cox Enhances Digital Telephone Service

Cox Communications Northern Virginia has launched Cox Phone Tools, an enhancement to its digital telephone service that offers consumers online accessibility.
The new converged telephone and internet functionality provided by Cox Phone Tools allows Cox Digital Telephone customers who subscribe to Cox high speed internet, the ability to manage their phone service online.
With Cox Phone Tools, customers can do review call history with dates, times and durations, play and save voice mail messages (requires the Voice Mail feature), send notifications of new voice mail messages to any email address, manage call feature settings online - call waiting, call forwarding and reset voice mail password online from any internet-enabled computer.
Mark Snow, vice president of marketing for Cox Northern Virginia, said: "The launch of Cox Phone Tools is a great example of how we're integrating our communications and entertainment services to benefit our valued customers. Cox Phone Tools will allow our customers to enjoy their telephone service in a new and exciting way that Verizon does not offer locally."
