China Telecom USA Expands Service Into Canada

HERNDON, Va., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- China Telecom USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, today announced that it is expanding its services into Canada. The move is strategically driven and fulfills business objectives to serve core global market segments. China Telecom plans to increase capabilities that enable greater geographic serviceability in North America and illustrates China Telecom's commitment to becoming a key global telecommunications provider.

China Telecom will deliver both data and voice services to business and residential customers, including International Private Line, China IP Access, MPLS VPN and retail services, which will be made available throughout Canada.
