Tech Data Corporation, a leading global provider of IT products, logistics management and other value-added services, was named 2004 Distributor of the Year by Enterasys Networks during the manufacturer's recent annual Americas Partner Conference in New Orleans. Enterasys recognized Tech Data as its "top-performing" distributor for last year.
Enterasys is a leading provider of secure enterprise networking solutions. Tech Data distributes an array of Enterasys' Secure Networks(TM) products including its Matrix line of switching hardware; Dragon Intrusion Defense System; and RoamAbout wireless technology.

"This award highlights Tech Data's commitment to providing our customers with the products they need to create secure networking solutions that protect their customers' investments and information resources."
"Tech Data did a great job for Enterasys in 2004, and we look forward to continuing the growth of our relationship," said Jim Harold, vice president of Worldwide Channels for Enterasys Networks. "Tech Data is a strong partner and has been instrumental in delivering the benefits of our Secure Networks solutions through our authorized partner base, which has been the key to our success."
Tech Data's Broadline and Specialized Advantage
Tech Data provides the best of both worlds -- the local, regional and technology specialization that resellers and solution providers demand, plus the immense economies of scale that only an international broadline distributor can deliver. By combining its worldwide and in-country resources with its extensive technical expertise, Tech Data provides resellers worldwide with the tools they need to grow incremental business opportunities.
