AT&T Activates New Cell Site on the Princeton Campus, New Jersey
AT&T has announced the activation of a new cell site on the Princeton campus, New Jersey, which will enhance coverage, capacity and expands third generation mobile broadband network in the area.
Since 2004, AT&T has invested nearly $500 million, adding 200 new cell sites throughout southern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. AT&T also expanded their 3G wireless broadband network in the area; delivering typical download speeds ranging from 600 to 1,400 Kbps.
Dan Lafond, vice president and general manager for wireless division in New Jersey at AT&T, said: “AT&T is committed to providing subscribers with a top notch network experience each and every time they make a call, send a text message, or surf the Internet on their wireless device. We also have many plans to help college students and teens stick to a budget, including family plans, flexible prepaid options with GoPhone and unlimited text messaging.”
