The PC Gaming Alliance, a consortium of worldwide PC gaming industry leaders, hired Global Inventures to launch and manage its initiative to support and advance the PC as a worldwide gaming platform.
PCGA and its member companies will work to accelerate innovation, improve the gaming experience for consumers and serve as a collective source of market information and expertise on PC gaming. Global Inventures provides professional services to manage collaborative organizations like PCGA, from legal, financial and operational expertise to strategic consulting on the lifecycle of the group.
"We had been meeting and planning this initiative for about a year on our own," said Ritche Corpus of founding member company AMD. "When it came time to turn our plans into organized action, we identified Global Inventures as the best partner for our success. Our choice was affirmed by a successful launch in February at the Game Developers Conference."
Corpus said the strength of the professional team assembled for PCGA was proven further by Global Inventures team members who had worked side-by-side with Corpus and other founding members in the gaming industry.
"Our expertise in launching, managing and advising technology initiatives is formed both by our experience and our people," said Deepak Kamlani, founder and CEO of Global Inventures. "In 15 years, we've carefully developed the most effective and efficient processes, technology and people to advise and support our clients' organizations and missions. Industries are born and advanced by initiatives like PCGA and it's exciting to advise and collaborate with their members."
Global Inventures' scalable strategic services are complemented by a foundation of operational excellence that integrates best-of-breed IT, membership, communications and collaboration solutions with efficient staff services to drive key business processes and operations so clients can focus on their core mission.
