Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Solutions Division (TAIS DSD), announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC(R))'s Customer Inter@ction Solutions(R) magazine (www.cismag.com) has named Toshiba's Strata(R) CIX(TM) IP Telephony System as a recipient of the publication's Editors' Choice award. Customer Inter@ction Solutions has been the leading publication in the CRM, call center and teleservices industries since 1982.
"Toshiba's Strata CIX's FeatureFlex(TM) adaptability tool is a 'killer enabler' that endows enterprises with the ability to create their own personalized killer apps," said David R. Butcher, assistant editor of Customer Inter@ction Solutions(R) magazine. "The FeatureFlex adaptability tool was a key reason Strata CIX was selected for our January Technology Highlights feature, and being selected as such, we recognize the IP business communications system as an Editors' Choice."
"We are honored to receive Customer Interaction Solutions magazine's Editors' Choice award for our Strata CIX IP Telephony System," said Michael E. Durance, vice president and general manager of TAIS DSD. "We're particularly proud of Strata CIX's FeatureFlex adaptability that gives enterprises the ability to customize their own systems -- for the entire company, by department, or even down to the individual user. In addition, the Strata CIX has been designed to deliver virtually every telephony feature of the Strata CIX to every device, whether the end-user has a wireless or wired telephone, such as a desktop telephone or wireless IP handset, or even a softphone on a notebook computer or tablet PC."
About Toshiba's Strata CIX
Toshiba's Strata CIX is designed for small to medium-sized enterprises or larger corporate users with multiple sites, and supports up to 192 ports. It can be run as a pure IP system or can be TDM enabled, allowing enterprises to use IP where it makes sense. Strata CIX also offers more than 250 telephony features, virtually all the features of Toshiba's traditional TDM systems, in a pure IP solution and provides a smooth migration path from Toshiba Strata CTX and Strata DK digital business communication systems.
It is the industry's only business communications system with FeatureFlex, which allows users to customize or create features enabling greater flexibility and improved efficiency. Enterprises can create features companywide, by department, or for individual users.
