Descendants to Return Favor?

Perhaps after the LDS Church assists the Mountain Meadows Massacre descendants get National Historic Landmark status for the site of the battle where 120 people lost their lives, they could return the favor and help the LDS Church gain the same status for Independence, Far West, Haun’s Mill and Adam-Ondi-Ahman — all in Missouri — where thousands of Latter-day Saints were robbed of their property and rights, raped and killed. My ancestors, who were buried in those places or who survived to move on to Nauvoo, would certainly appreciate the gesture.
