IRVINE, Calif., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- KoldCast EMV, having officially launched its new media television network, KoldCast TV (http://www.koldcast.tv/), on March 17th, has ordered 24 original episodes of "Showbiz Schmooze with Ester Goldberg," a spin-off of the highly-popular MySpace Blog, "Views From A Broad." Hosting this three-episode-a-week, 3- minute dish on show business and celebrity is actor and comic, Michael Airington, in character as the persistently irreverent and always charming 73- year-old International Glamour Puss of All Media, Ester Goldberg. New episodes of "Schmooze" will be available on-demand 7 days a week with original episodes releasing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays exclusively on KoldCast TV, beginning in early April.

"Ester is no stranger to Hollywood and she says what others only dare to think. While she does have an occasional slip of the tongue, her language is mostly PG, and the old broad is certainly always funny," laughed KoldCast Studios executive producer, Bill Neal, who will co-produce "Showbiz Schmooze" with Airington/Goldberg. "Make no mistake about it, this is Ester's gig all the way; I'm just here to make sure our entertainment diva is well lit and that her champagne glass is kept full during taping," Neal adds. Prior to joining KoldCast Studios, Neal executive produced over 130 episodes of E! True Hollywood Story for E! Entertainment Television, among other high-profile Shows.
"Schmooze" is only the first in a lineup of original web series and shows being developed by, or for, KoldCast TV. "This Show is for our comedy fans and celebrity inspired viewers; and you can expect to see a series of additional original programming announcements on this front and others on a fairly consistent basis for the foreseeable," Neal said.
"The Show will initially be shot in studio and, as the Show matures, Ester will not only take her post and report live from red carpet events, she'll be hitting the bricks conducting street interviews with Hollywood passerby, albeit with custom insoles to keep her afloat while covering all the dirty glitz and tarnished Hollywood glamour," Airington joked, "And Ester just can't wait to roll tape."
About Michael Airington
Actor, producer, comic and web series creator, Michael Airington, is widely known for live productions. He is also producer and writer for "That's Estertainment,""The Big Show with Ester Goldberg," and "A Night with Paul Lynde." Ester's most popular success, however, was her fast-moving and hilarious Cabaret Show, "The Big Swanky After Dinner Show," which played to packed houses and was a critical success in Washington, D.C., where The Washington Post wrote, "It's star energy without the arms length ... you are dazzled by her." Ester was the toast of Washington, where the city proclaimed December 2nd as "Ester Goldberg Day." The "Big Show" played this past year for 10 weeks, in the main room of the world famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. To many, she is America's answer to Dame Edna and Ester's MySpace Blog, "Views From A Broad," is consistently ranked in the Top 10 MySpace Blog category for Movies, TV and Celebrities, rapidly becoming one of the Internet's most popular stars.
