"Business Service Management" is a relatively new term coined by the traditional, large network management vendors that enables users to map and visualize IT components into business services. ProIT's new capabilities enable users to organize all devices and components in an end-to-end application flow into folders called Service Groups. ProIT's innovative AutoMap dependency mapping algorithm which discovers and creates device and application and network-layer dependency maps has been enhanced to allow manual mapping and manipulation of the maps to better show accurate flow diagrams. More importantly, using ProIT's Service Group capabilities, users can create business-process status views and achieve realistic Business Service Management at little or no additional cost.
