Asylum Telecom Helps KPMG in Hungary to Build Next-Generation Internet Communications Network
Posted on: Wednesday, 2 March 2005, 15:00 CST
NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Asylum Telecom LLC, a global provider of "turnkey" Internet-based communication solutions, today announced that KPMG in Hungary has implemented Asylum's Corporate Communications Services (CCS). Asylum's CCS was tested over a period of three months prior to being put into production in December 2004 and has produced significant cost savings. Asylum now aims to enter into negotiations with other member firms of KPMG's global network.
By leveraging Asylum Telecom's proprietary Internet communications switching infrastructure, enterprises can reliably and simply enable their employees to take advantage of new converged communications services while simultaneously realizing significant cost savings. Asylum has deployed its technology in multiple data centers worldwide and serves customers and partners in over 25 countries.
William Curley, Finance & IT Director at KPMG in Hungary said: "Asylum Telecom's hybrid Internet telephony solution meant we could seamlessly integrate our existing infrastructure with their service offering for a nominal capital outlay. They understand our business and quality of service requirements and their solution has been incorporated into the daily operations of the office without the need for any employees to have knowledge that the service has been deployed, nor notice any difference in call quality."
According to Paul Cheng, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asylum, KPMG's communications infrastructure presented a perfect platform for Asylum's CCS Solution. "Just as important, their continuous focus on driving greater efficiencies throughout their business created an excellent environment for our partnership today and into the future," he said.
Asylum Telecom's CCS enables customers to leverage their existing telecommunications infrastructure to enable next-generation Internet-based communications services including anytime-anywhere access, voice VPN services, converged GSM/IP mobile communications, instant messaging, and unified messaging. Given today's global business and communications requirements, empowering employees with simple, secure, and reliable communications capabilities in a manageable and cost-efficient way is a growing challenge.
Asylum solutions allow businesses to cost-effectively extend their critical communications infrastructure using Asylum's global services platform and simplify billing and management.
