CX2 Sells Digital Base Station to FCC Licensee in New York

CX2 Technologies, a provider of wireless data technology and software, has announced the sale of a CX2 ESP1000 digital base station for installation in Queens, New York.
As part of the agreement, CX2 will deliver a second base station at no additional cost. The CX2 equipment will be installed in Manhattan and will be used by the commercial operator.
In addition, the base station will be used as a laboratory, as CX2 Technologies continues to work on developing its integrated data solution for public safety organizations.
Michael Rand, president of CX2 Technologies, said: "We are very happy to announce this sale for installation just outside Kennedy Airport. The customer is interested in supplying a combined automatic vehicle location and credit card swiping service to the five boroughs."
