StillSecure Joins McAfee Security Innovation Alliance(R)

StillSecure(R), creator of secure network infrastructure solutions, today announced that it is joining the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance(R) to provide organizations with a complete solution for network- and host-based NAC. Through this partnership, joint customers will achieve faster NAC implementation times and reduced costs for deployment.

The McAfee Security Innovation Alliance is a technology partnering program that accelerates the development of interoperable security products and simplifies the integration of those products with complex customer environments. As part of the program, StillSecure will integrate Safe Access(R), the company’s NAC product, with ePolicy Orchestrator(R) (ePO(TM)), McAfee’s enterprise security management system. Through the integration, Safe Access will provide additional enforcement options for McAfee NAC customers and access control for unmanaged devices that don’t have the ePolicy Orchestrator agent installed.

Safe Access is known for its flexible testing and enforcement options. There are three testing options, including agentless, agent-based, and web-based. In addition, there are five enforcement options, including 802.1x, DHCP, endpoint-based, inline, and support for the three major NAC frameworks (Cisco NAC, Microsoft NAP, and Trusted Computing Group’s Trusted Network Connect). This enables Safe Access to enforce policy compliance across complex, heterogeneous networks, and secure the network from all endpoints, regardless of the network topology, configuration, hardware, versioning, etc.
