General Telecom Signs Broadwing Communications to IPartition Service

GOLDEN, Colo., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Today General Telecom, a leading provider of outsourced network solutions for carriers, announced that Broadwing Communications, LLC (Broadwing), a consolidated subsidiary of Broadwing Corporation has contracted to use General Telecom's IPartition IP-to-IP switching service.
Broadwing will utilize IPartition to support its Voice over IP (VoIP) services, including PRIorityConnect SIP. Part of Broadwing's converged network services portfoltio, PRIorityConnect SIP provides enterprise and carrier customers with a scalable, cost effective VoIP aggregation solution that leverages industry-standard Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) technology.
