ARLINGTON, Va., April 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The HealthCentral Network, Inc. (http://www.healthcentral.com/) announced today that New Hope Media's ADDitudemag.com, a top information resource for people living with ADHD and learning disorders, is joining its network of highly targeted and quality healthcare sites.
The companies will collaborate on both content and ad representation. ADDitudemag.com will work with HealthCentral's ADHDCentral.com, licensing content and tools with the goal of providing the best Web resources to children with ADHD, their parents, and adults with ADHD. HealthCentral will provide exclusive pharmaceutical ad representation on ADDitudemag.com through 2008.
ADDitudemag.com will also license HealthCentral's CareCentral application (http://www.carecentral.com/) to offer help coordinating caregiving activities and medical appointments for those coping with ADHD.
"HealthCentral is building a unique approach to the ad network -- not size for size's stake, but rather aggregating the highest-quality, most-engaged, most action-oriented audiences of health consumers and delivering to them the highest value, most relevant ad propositions," said Chris Schroeder, CEO and President of The HealthCentral Network. "The agreement with ADDitudemag.com is a perfect example of two highly targeted properties about a disease condition coming together to create something much larger and synergistic for both parties."
"ADDitudemag.com is excited about working with HealthCentral," said Susan Caughman, President and CEO of New Hope Media. "It has showed a real commitment to quality content, and its creativity, flexibility and attentiveness to helping us build our brand presence set it apart. We believe working together on content, commerce and community will enable both of us to grow."
