Alliance Systems, tekVizion Sign Joint Services Agreement; Duo to Help Streamline Service Providers' Transition to Reliable VoIP Networks

Alliance Systems and tekVizion(TM) PVS, Inc., the new standard for systems integration, today announced they have signed a joint services agreement intended to help smooth service providers' transition to reliable converged networks.
By working together, Alliance and tekVizion offer completely integrated, tested, and supported solutions including servers, software applications and middleware from leading independent software vendors (ISVs).
The two parties have agreed to work together to create market opportunities for each other's products and services and to further expand their portfolio of shared vendor relationships with market-leading ISVs.
Today the industry is benefiting from the innovation and modularity that open standards provide. The downside to this flexibility, however, is that service providers are left to deal with many more vendors to build a competitive solution. In most cases, launching even a single new service into the market requires a service provider to work with different hardware vendors, several different ISVs, and possibly multiple professional services firms. Through this relationship, Alliance and tekVizion can help streamline this process, saving considerable time for the service provider and leading to more reliable services by delivering tightly integrated and pre-tested multi-vendor solutions that arrive on-site with customer-specific configurations and support documentation.
tekVizion offers specialized professional services including consulting, custom software and portal development, integration, support, and test services that include the tekVizion Labs(TM) testing and certification facility. tekVizion offers these services to communications service providers and vendors.
Alliance Systems is an original design manufacturer (ODM) serving ISVs and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) by providing value-added services including the design, build, ship, and support of Intel server technology. By combining its design and manufacturing capabilities with its global logistics, technical support, and implementation services, Alliance delivers end-to-end infrastructure support services.
"Forming a relationship with tekVizion provides customers that have embraced complex technologies like AdvancedTCA with a seamless solution for their custom software development needs, server design, and configuration as well as testing," said Rusty Cone, president of Alliance Systems. "Our goal is to provide customers with the highest quality products and services in the most convenient and cost-effective way possible. We believe this agreement strengthens our efforts to do so."
"Alliance and tekVizion are a natural fit, since each company's area of expertise complements the other's," said Terri Griffin, tekVizion president. "The range of expertise represented by this relationship enables service providers to hand off the headaches of moving to VoIP networking to experts while reaping the marketplace advantages of rapid rollout of converged services."
