Spaghetti Dinner to Support Opportunity Pres Mission Trip

Apr. 12–Opportunity Presbyterian Church will host a fundraiser next Saturday to help fund a mission trip to Mexico. The spaghetti dinner and movie evening will begin at 6 p.m. at the church, 202 N. Pines Road.
The church’s high school youths will travel to Tijuana in July to build a house. Those planning to attend the event are asked to call the church office at 924-9750.
Concerts
— Millwood Presbyterian Church will host a piano and strings concert at 7 p.m. Sunday as part of its Music in Millwood series. The concert will feature music by Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Debussy and more. Scheduled performers include pianist Rachelle Ventura, violinist and violist Jay Prior and violinists Tom Bandar and Andrienne Gore. Admission is a nonperishable food item for the Spokane Valley Food Bank.
The church is at 3223 N. Marguerite Road.
— The Pasadena Park Nazarene Church will host The Beene Family quartet in concert at 7 p.m. next Saturday. The Tennessee-based gospel quartet has been a frequent visitor to the church. Admission is by donation. The church is at 8822 E. Upriver Drive.
Breakfast
The Knights of Columbus at St. Paschal’s Catholic Church will host a breakfast from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the basement of the school, 2521 N. Park Road. The menu will feature French toast, German scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and a fruit cup. The cost is by donation. The event will raise money for the World Day of Prayer for Vocations.
