LONDON, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Moonfruit, the provider of an online website building tool kit used to build more than 1.7 million sites to date, has announced a partnership with Synacor that offers its SiteMaker website building product to Synacor clients.
Technology platform and white-label portal provider Synacor integrates SiteMaker for its clients who then provide it for both their residential and commercial customers.
The Moonfruit product allows both individuals and businesses to simply establish a web presence they desire and allow for easy creation of a web site regardless of the web site builder's skill or experience. It is straightforward to customize text, add pictures, design multiple pages and add logos. SiteMaker features design freedom with a drag and drop, point and click edit environment that lets the user take any element and place it anywhere on the page.
"With Moonfruit it's not about the technology, it's about the content," said Joe White, Managing Director, Moonfruit. "Users can be concerned with what they want to say and focus on the message as opposed to the means to build their site."
Users can edit their sites online so that changes can be managed from anywhere at anytime with no software to download, install or upgrade. SiteMaker features message boards, chat rooms and site membership to restrict access to your site. For business users, SiteMaker features PayPal integration for e-commerce.
"Moonfruit has a solid track record of delivering outstanding, easy-to-use products," said Ted May, Synacor Vice President of Content and Value-Added Services. "We are pleased to partner with them to offer SiteMaker to our clients who then offer this feature-rich product to their residential and business customers."
