Apparent Networks today announced that it has been named a Cisco Technology Developer Partner, the highest status in Cisco’s partnership program. The Technology Developer Partner designation is given by Cisco only to companies whose products have been verified for interoperability with Cisco solutions and that hold market leadership positions. A further requirement is that the partner company shares Cisco’s strong commitment to customer service.

The Technology Developer Partner designation will provide a strong market advantage for Apparent Networks in many areas. Enterprise customers, managed service providers and partners for both companies know that solutions developed under this program have been approved by Cisco as having met their high standards for quality and compatibility.

“Apparent Networks’ strategy is to align with platform providers that are most important to our customers and prospects. Cisco is clearly a leader in this category and a company our customers have asked us to collaborate with,” said Keith Bartlett, vice president of business development for Apparent Networks. “Customers rely on Cisco solutions to effectively manage and grow their businesses. Our goal is to complement and extend those solutions with our AppCritical software and its innovative, real-time network monitoring capabilities. We believe our partnership with Cisco will help joint customers realize more value from their infrastructure investments and gain unique, competitive advantages.”

The Cisco Technology Developer Program sets criteria for interoperability testing with Cisco solutions and platforms. The program provides both service providers and enterprise customers with information regarding the results of interoperability tests of partner companies’ products conducted by an independent, third-party facility. To attain the Cisco Technology Developer Partner designation, products have demonstrated smooth interoperability with Cisco networking technology. These factual assessments help customers to implement innovative business solutions more quickly and effectively.
