Compustaff, a computer consulting and staffing organization, has selected SafeMedia's Active Denial P2P network security appliance to provide security for its consulting, outsourcing and recruitment business.
SafeMedia 'Clouseau' is a network security management appliance designed to monitor, detect, intercept, capture, report and actively deny all inadvertent file sharing from P2P networks, encrypted or non-encrypted, without invading the users' privacy.
John Kemp, CEO of Compustaff, said: "Our network policies prohibit our employees from using P2P, but enforcement was not practical. After deploying SafeMedia's technology, our network administrators get real-time visibility into P2P internet traffic, allowing them to capture and block infringing P2P clients and effectively manage our company's policies."
