Network Solutions(R) Appoints Chief Information Officer to Its Senior Leadership Team

Network Solutions announced today that Kamalesh Dwivedi joined its leadership team as a Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, overseeing Operations, Engineering, Enterprise Data Services and the Program Management. Dwivedi is based at Network Solutions' corporate headquarters in Herndon, VA.
"Kamalesh is a seasoned transformational technology executive, bringing to Network Solutions more than 25 years of combined experience in engineering, high technology manufacturing and Information Technology," said Roy Dunbar, CEO of Network Solutions. Prior to joining Network Solutions, Mr. Dwivedi was an Executive Vice President and the CIO at TeleTech Holdings, a leading global provider of Business Process Outsourcing, in Englewood, Colorado.
Before joining TeleTech, Dwivedi served as a vice president and Chief Information Officer of ADC Telecommunications, a global manufacturer of broadband equipment to the telecom and cable industries. Prior to ADC, he was the Chief Information Officer of Scientific-Atlanta, now a division of Cisco and a global manufacturer and supplier of integrated technology products in video, voice and data to the telecom and cable industries. Kamalesh led the engineering and manufacturing functions for handsets in the pioneer days of the cellular phone industry, during the 80's in Canada.
Kamalesh holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India and a master's degree in engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He also graduated from the Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development.
