Network Solutions Appoints New Vice President and CIO

Network Solutions, a provider of e-business solutions, has appointed Kamalesh Dwivedi as its new senior vice president and chief information officer, overseeing operations, engineering, enterprise data services and the program management.
Prior to joining Network Solutions, Mr Dwivedi was an executive vice president and the chief information officer (CIO) at TeleTech Holdings, a provider of BPO services.
Before joining TeleTech, Mr Dwivedi served as a vice president and CIO of ADC Telecommunications. Prior to ADC, he was the CIO of Scientific-Atlanta, now a division of Cisco and a manufacturer and supplier of integrated technology products in video, voice and data to the telecom and cable industries. He led the engineering and manufacturing functions for handsets in the pioneer days of the cellular phone industry, during the 80's in Canada.
