Over 2.7m Internet Users in Belarus – Minister

There are over 2.7m Internet users in Belarus, Communications and Information Technology Minister Mikalay Pantsyaley has said.
He was speaking at an official ceremony opening the TIBO-2008 telecoms forum in Minsk on 21 April, the Belapan news agency reported.
The agency also quoted him as saying that there are over 150 Internet service providers in Belarus.
Pantsyaley also said that there are over 7m mobile phone subscribers in Belarus.
