Atrica and ITM Announce Strategic Partnership; Reseller Agreement Combines Strength of Atrica's Carrier Ethernet Systems With ITM's Leading Systems Integration Services

Atrica(TM), the Carrier Ethernet pioneer, and ITM Group, one of Germany's leading Systems Integrators, today announced a strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, which combines the strength of Atrica's carrier-class Optical Ethernet Systems with ITM's technical expertise and comprehensive systems integration services, ITM will provide local systems integration services to carriers as they deploy Atrica's proven solutions. In addition to supporting joint customers as they deploy Atrica's Carrier-class solutions, the two industry leaders will work together to identify and pursue joint Metro networking opportunities in Germany and Austria.

This agreement illustrates the increasing demand in Germany and Austria for the numerous business and technical benefits that Carrier Ethernet technology delivers. It also represents ITM's entry into the Carrier Ethernet marketplace. Working with Atrica, ITM will leverage its comprehensive knowledge of local markets to provide fulfillment and delivery services as well as second level support to Metro carriers as they build-out, expand, and/or upgrade their telecommunications infrastructures with Carrier Ethernet technology.

The industry's first Carrier Ethernet solutions, Atrica's Optical Ethernet Systems allow carriers to leverage one universal transport network to deliver the ultimate broadband triple play services to both residential and business customers, Atrica's platforms uniquely deliver carrier-class functionality including high scalability, guaranteed, end-to-end service level agreements (SLAs), 50ms network-wide resiliency, support of TDM traffic, and point-and-click OAM&P.

htp Awards Contract to Atrica and ITM

Announced separately today, and illustrating the potential of this strategic relationship, the German Regional Carrier htp has awarded a contract to Atrica and ITM for the expansion of its telecommunications infrastructure. With this agreement, Atrica's Carrier-class Optical Ethernet Systems will allow enable htp to deliver an expanded range of advanced broadband services to its business and residential customers, with guaranteed, end-to-end service level agreements (SLAs) and 50 ms resiliency. ITM will oversee the implementation of the network and provide all second level support.
