Verizon Communications has launched its High Speed Internet service in 70 West Virginia communities.
According to the company, this service more than doubles the download speed of its current fastest digital subscriber line, or DSL, service and provides an alternative to cable internet.
According to Verizon, the new service offers qualified customers a downstream connection speed of up to 7Mbps for $39.99 a month when ordered with an annual service plan.
Keith Fulton, president of Verizon West Virginia, said: "Our super-fast internet service provides all the speed you need for everything you do online and at a reasonable cost."
