April 25, 2008
Internet security software provider AVG has upgraded its free anti-virus software to include the safe-searching component of its LinkScanner technology to provide real-time flagging of malicious hyperlinks in Google, Yahoo, and MSN search results.
Home users now have a choice between the AVG Internet Security suite, AVG Anti-Virus, or AVG Anti-Virus Plus Firewall products, while business users can select Network Edition or SBS Edition versions of the AVG Anti-Virus and AVG Internet Security products.
