Verizon Launches High Speed Internet Service in 140 Pennsylvania Communities

Verizon Communications has introduced its high speed internet service in 140 Pennsylvania communities, which is expected to double the download speed of the company's current fastest digital subscriber line service.
According to the company, its Verizon high speed internet service offers qualified customers a downstream connection speed of up to 7Mbps for $39.99 a month when ordered with an annual service plan.
William Petersen, president of Verizon Pennsylvania, said: "Verizon 7 Megabit High Speed Internet is the way to go for qualifying residents in Pennsylvania who are looking for a better alternative to high-priced cable Internet."
