Verizon Business Receives Juniper Networks 2007 Managed Services J-Partner of the Year Award

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Business has received the Juniper Networks 2007 Americas Managed Services J-Partner of the Year Award. It recognizes the company's achievements in the delivery of high-performance managed networking solutions based on Juniper technology platforms, commitment to customer service excellence and success in generating increased revenues.

In the past six months, Verizon Business has launched two new managed service offerings based on Juniper technology. Last month, the company became the first U.S.-based service provider to deliver management of the Juniper Networks J-series services routers. In October, Verizon Business launched its Managed WAN Optimization Service, a wide-area-network acceleration service based on the Juniper Networks WXC platform designed to fine-tune network performance and improve application performance.

In addition, Verizon Business has selected Juniper Networks as one of four leading suppliers to be included in the launch later this year of Verizon Business' international reseller program for customer premises equipment.
